Together, Kairosity embodies our belief that intelligence emerges when timing meets inquiry.
Our Mission
At Kairosity, our mission is to:
- Build a Temporal Intelligence Layer that redefines enterprise forecasting and decision-making.
- Fuse temporal world models, external context, and causality into a single reasoning platform.
- Empower businesses to act not just in the present, but in Kairos moments, guided by curiosity.
Our Story
Kairosity was born from a simple but profound realisation: time is the missing dimension in AI. We are building the world's first Temporal Intelligence Layer — systems that don't just predict, but explain, simulate, and reason across time.
Our journey began in July 2024 at Microsoft Research where Atharva Pandey and Gautam Jajoo were working under the same Principal Researcher, Dr. Amit Sharma. That meeting sparked a collaboration that quickly grew into a friendship, a shared research journey, and ultimately Kairosity.

Background & Research
- Research collaborations with Microsoft Research (with Amit Sharma, Nagarajan Natarjan and Hua Li), MIT Media Lab (Ramesh Raskar, Pattie Maes), Nantes Université (Charpak Lab Scholar), NESAC, and more.
- Google Summer of Code, Google Code-In, contributor & later administrator with CloudCV, mentored by Dr. Dhruv Batra (Co-founder, Yutori), Deshraj Yadav (Co-founder, mem0ai), etc.
- Part of residency progams like Lossfunk(Paras Chopra), Mission Street House SF
- Publications at ACL, CVPR, AAAI
Beyond Research
- Experience in venture capital & startup ecosystems, with internships at Indian Angel Network and scouting for multiple people.
Background & Research
- Research Fellow, Microsoft Research India, working on reliable reasoning with Dr. Amit Sharma (PyWhy, DoWhy), Dr. Rahul Sharma (Stanford), and Javier Gonzalez (Emukit, GPyOpt).
- Published at AAAI 2024 (implicit 3D surfaces), 2× ICML main (1 first-author), 3× ICLR workshops (2 first-author), 1 NeurIPS workshop in <12 months at MSR.
- Prior research at Jio Research (3D face modeling), IIT Jodhpur Computer Vision & Graphics Lab, and Carleton University (as a MITACS Scholar).
Technical Journey
- Building projects since grade 7: magnetometers, holographic displays, Arduino/Raspberry Pi systems.
- Cleared Indian National Astronomy Olympiad, KVPY Scholar, established IIT Jodhpur's Game Development Society.
